Financial Disaster Comes Out of Nowhere

Dear Reader,

Maybe you already know me as the guy who graduated in 1968 from LaGrange High in Georgia. Maybe you went with me to Auburn University, Andrew College, American Christian Bible College, West Georgia Vo-Tech, Barney Frank School of Appraisal or GMAC Real Estate Academy.

Maybe you caught up with me on Facebook. If you knew me back in the day, you have no idea how many achievements have been done by me. I turned my life around from being an aimless under performer into a brilliant high performer. I have two degrees, am self taught on the internet, have had successful businesses, have had many friends and lovers, have beat the odds in many ways, have excelled in academics, have won sales achievement awards and the beat goes on. Most importantly, I have bowed my knees to Jesus Christ.

Maybe you knew me as a dedicated Christian or you worked with me on a job somewhere. Maybe you are just meeting me for the first time.

It's important. I want to make one point.

Friend, I am just like you. I am a human and fortunate enough to be a free American. I love my country, but our enemies have been undermining us from within. It's hard enough to fight the daily battle to survive, but for a misfortune to unexpectedly occur in our life can be the thing that finally wipes you/us out.

It did happen to me. And it seems like misfortune followed one after another, until I finally broke down under the load. The weight was too much for me and I was not prepared to have my life go up in smoke all of a sudden or even gradually.

Why am I telling you this. It is true, that I want a little sympathy, but I want a lot more attention given to what I am doing about the misfortunes and my disabilities. Actually, I want to be an inspiration to you and I want to provide you a very strong reason to align ourselves together. Let's work together and become financially stronger.

I have learned that no matter how hard we try to achieve a good life, something can come along and demolish everything we've worked for and it can make one feel like giving up. A misfortune like a car wreck can make a big difference in your life. What if your discs are so damaged, you will never lift much weight again or you will never be able to run again because the jarring is too painful.

Not me! I felt the feeling. I felt the pain. I felt discouraged and even despair, but refused to give in to it.

Friend, I have every intention of turning things around, but I will need your help. Fortunately, for the both of us, I follow a people helping people model. Greedy and unethical people do not believe in this model because it is beyond their ability to comprehend anything like it.

Jesus Christ taught benevolent community. We have replaced it with the lie of individualism. There's nothing in the Bible that professes individualism. Everything is about community. The only thing individual is your judgment and we will be judged according to the way we performed in the commonwealth of faith.

Are you with me? OK. Let's become better friends and please learn from me.

I am in the process of overcoming serial misfortune. If I can stand up again and again after many misfortunes, I believe that ANY true believer can do it. The Bible says so. Have you not read it? "Though a righteous man falls seven times, the Lord will lift him up." This kind of thing has been stated more than once in the Bible. It simply means that the Lord is always there for us. We may not exactly like what is going on in our life, but the Lord will not fail us. We will walk with the Lord.  It's a promise from God.

Do we have affinity? I hope so because I am seeking to align with true winners and true winners never quit. They might hurt. They might get sidelined, but they never quit.

We pause. We rest. We recover. We are refreshed. We prepare and we are back in the game with dispatch.

Thank you for reading. Please follow this blog and subscribe. Let's build a life together. We have many difficulties in this world. Together, we can prevail. Let's do it.

Truly yours,

NOTE: If you are an atheist, I am not going to revile you. However, you and I know that despair is often the cause of atheism. So, you can change your life when you change your mind and you can change your mind when you get around people like me. I live by faith and I can show you how it's done.
